It was just another day when we received a call about a snake sighting inside a bathroom. Without wasting any time, we geared up and rushed to the location. On arrival, we carefully inspected the area and immediately spotted the unmistakable hood of a cobra.

UCHUU TRUST’s exemplary wildlife rescue efforts were recently highlighted in Udayavani, showcasing their commitment to conservation. The team rescued a severely injured python, promptly providing medical care in collaboration with a skilled veterinary team. The python underwent surgery and was successfully rehabilitated, culminating in its safe release back into the wild.
It was a typical afternoon when an urgent call set our team into action. A juvenile cobra had been spotted in a residential area, causing understandable concern among the locals. The snake had sought refuge beneath a pipe near a home, but the situation was growing increasingly tense, with several dogs barking furiously in close proximity. The presence of these agitated animals added a layer of urgency, as the risk of either the cobra being attacked or one of the pets being bitten was high. Swift and careful action was needed to ensure the safety of both the snake and the residents.
An urgent call came in—a discovery of something extraordinary during routine grass-cutting inside a compound. We raced to the scene, not fully prepared for the sheer magnitude of what awaited us. Upon arrival, there it was—a massive python, coiled peacefully but with an undeniable presence. Weighing an astonishing 41 kilograms and stretching 8 feet long, the snake’s majestic size commanded awe and respect.
