The situation was tense — the cobra was in danger, and so were the dogs. The snake had found temporary refuge in a pile of stones, but it was clear we needed to act fast.
It started with an explosive round of barking—our Doberman, usually calm and collected, was in full attack mode! We rushed outside, only to freeze at the sight before us… 💥 A MASSIVE 10+ foot python coiled in our yard! 💥 Our dog wasn’t backing down. Every bark was met with slow, calculated movements from the python. It was a standoff—pure instinct versus raw power. But things got tense when the python lashed out! Our brave Doberman dodged, but not without a scratch. We knew we had to act FAST.
It was a moment of immense honor and joy to be recognized by the esteemed Sri Vishwaprasanna Tirtha Swamiji of the Pejawara Math, Udupi. During the meeting, I had the privilege of sharing insights about the work undertaken by Uchuu Trust (Udupi_Snakeinthecity) and the dedication we pour into our mission of wildlife conservation and snake rescue.

When a canteen turned into an unlikely refuge for a Russell’s Viper, UCHUU TRUST was called in for a daring rescue. The snake had managed to slither into a duct hole, adding an element of complexity to the situation. Upon arrival, our team carefully assessed the scene and began the delicate task of coaxing the viper out. After navigating the tight ductwork and employing patience and precision, the team successfully removed the snake from the top of the duct and gently brought it down to the floor. Ensuring the viper remained calm and unharmed, it was safely secured in a transport bag.
