We tried to explain that the snake would likely move on its own, as it posed no harm if left undisturbed—but this time, the residents weren't convinced.

Without wasting a moment, we rushed to the location, only to find the helpless animal struggling to stay afloat. Panic was setting in, and the crowd around the well was growing rapidly, making the situation even more tense.
