Outcome: Safely Rescued & Released

🐍 Rescue Story

Late at night, we received an emergency call about a python coiled inside the tyre of a parked vehicle at an apartment complex.

Pythons often seek warmth and secure spaces, and the hollow cavity of a vehicle tyre can feel like a safe hiding spot. As urban areas expand into natural habitats, such encounters are becoming increasingly common—highlighting the importance of peaceful coexistence with wildlife.

Although we explained that the python might eventually leave on its own, the vehicle needed to be moved urgently. To prevent harm to both the animal and people, our rescue team stepped in.

On reaching the spot, we worked calmly and patiently, ensuring minimal stress to the snake. Using proper handling techniques, we gently guided the python down from the tyre. Remarkably calm, it cooperated throughout the process and soon moved safely into the rescue bag.

The python was later released into a suitable natural habitat, away from human disturbance—safe, unharmed, and free.

Some rescues stay with you.
This was one of them. 💚
